May Chapter Meeting
The May Chapter meeting is taking place on May 14, 2008 at Clayton High School in the commons. We will be discussing the numerous summer opportunities during the business meeting as well as those coming up in the fall. "Snakes Alive!" will be coming and providing an informative presentation on the snakes of Missouri followed by an interactive session where you will have the opportunity to hold many differnt types of snakes. In addition, the troop that brings the most people will get to pie the Chapter Chief and Chapter Advisor in the face! This will be a great way to get your summer started off right. New Service Project - May 21, 2008
This is our third service project of the year. The project will take place on May 21 at 6:30pm at Shriners Hospital. We will be providing free summer camp physicals for all the scouts and scouters in the district. We will need OA members to assist with eye tests, height and weight measurement, regestration, and the overall flow of the event. This is a great way to get your service project requirement completed for brotherhood. If you have any suggestions for future service projects please email Mike Holm, the service chairmen.
New Chapter Neckerchief
As seen below, we have recently created a brand new Chapter Neckerchief to distinguish ourselves from the other chapters within the lodge. The neckerchief only costs $11.00.

Chiefly Spoken
"The Order is a thing of spirit rather than of mechanics. Organization, operational procedures, and all that go with them are necessary in any large and growing movement, but they are not what counts in the end. Things of the spirit are what count:Brotherhood - in a day when there is too much hatred at home and abroad
Cheerfulness - in a day when the pessimists have the floor and cynics are popular ...
Service - in a day when millions are interested in getting or grasping, rather that giving."
By: Dr. E. Urner Goodman, Founder of the Order of the Arrow
